As the Charlton family connects with God and one another, we are strengthened and encouraged to share our lives with one another. We are committed to caring for our neighbors in whatever way we can.
Through various programs, our members reach out to those who are in need by providing food, clothing, and basic necessities.
A variety of opportunities are available for our congregation to support the work of many mission projects, both financially and through volunteer labor.
By sharing our time, efforts and our resources, we can make a difference in the lives of people in our community and around the world.
Giving Grace is a monthly outreach ministry that provides non-food items that cannot be obtained through local food banks. If you live in the 17109, 17111 and 17112 zip codes and are experiencing economic hardships and can benefit from our services, we warmly welcome you to participate. Giving Grace operates on the first Wednesday of the month from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. In order to register, please bring your ID and proof of household family members the first time you come to the program.
Helping Hands is an outreach ministry that offers assistance in a variety of ways to meet the immediate needs of our community neighbors. The Charlton family finds ways to walk alongside individuals, families, and senior citizens who need assistance in small or big ways.
Charlton Church is a proud partner of Family Promise of the Harrisburg Capital Region, whose goal is to work with families experiencing difficult days. As part of the network, the Charlton family provides meals, hospitality, and a safe and secure place for families to spend the night while the Family Promise program works with the family to find affordable housing.
